That it was a "sneak" attack. Most people are not well versed in military science. Surprise/Sneak attacks are one of the basic elements of warfare. However, prior to the atomic age...total wars were the only types of wars that were fought (Limited Wars-limited to non-atomic weapons DIDN'T EXIST). And total wars were traditionally accompanied by a "Declaration of War." Not having a formal "Declaration of War" meant "dirty fighting" to the minds of US citizens, and most people in general during those times.
Americans largely felt anger and sadness about the attack on Pearl Harbor. They were caught completely off guard and were shocked by the event.
First, Shock! After the attack, Americans were mad and we went to War.
Mission accomplished.
They felt bad real bad
the americans were really sort of neutral towards the war and did not want to get into it but when pearl harbor happened they felt threatened and felt that they had to protect the safety of their nation and fight.
It made all people that lived in Pearl Harbor feel bad and they were mostly dead.We now are loving Hawaii and the Japanese are not bombing perl harbor.
—Basically, the Japanese stopped attacking. The attack was in two waves, the second ending by around 9:30am or so. For various reasons, the Japanese, specifically Admiral Nagumo, commander of the strike force, elected to break off and head back to Japan, because he knew they were going to lose.If you mean WW II, then it ended when Japan surrendered to the US.
The Japanese Army was happy with the various attacks on the British, Dutch & Americans (including the Pearl Harbor attack). The Japanese Army was the main force behind the idea of going to war with Britain & the US.
fricking awesome
Mission accomplished.

Few people are alive today that remember that attack. For people of today, it is history.
The Japanese at first greeted this military victory with enthusiasm just as any patriotic citizen .
He was relieved that the US was now involved in the war and Britain no longer fought on alone .
Dead.

They didn't feel they were entitled to the islands. They attacked Pearl Harbor to eliminate the US Battle Fleet stationed there.
Feel like someone just ruined everything I had or ever wanted
Yes they did because they thought they would destroy all of the Navy's war ships and didn't realize the best ships were out to sea.
