How did Egyptians make the pyramid?

It took a lot of time to build a pyramid. The Egyptians started building the pyramid when the pharaoh was still living. They would first, make a level base for the pyramid. Then they filled the level hole with water than the water would evaporate, leaving a line of where they should start the pyramid. Next, the Egyptians got many stones from the water and started to build upwards, in a triangle. As the pyramid got taller, it was harder to pull the rocks higher up. So, the Egyptians made ramps. these ramps helped them pull rocks up to the top. Lots of times, they would polish the sides as they went up. The ramps also made it hard for the person to see if they are building the pyramid up in a full triangle. This is why many pyramids are slanted. Once the pyramid is finished, the pharaoh is dead and they move the pharaohs body and things into the pyramid. Sometimes slaves where put down there to watch over the body!

The Ancient Egyptians built there pyramids out of bricks made by mud by slaves. Some say that slaves didn't build the pyramids, nobles did. This is so because The Bible says it was too hard to have so many slaves working on this BIG project.
