I hope this isn't a serious question, but there were many immigrants from many countries who wanted to leave their countries for various reasons (Religion, Poverty etc.). But the main "Pilgrims" were on three boats and took a long journey to get to this land that had been discovered to start anew. The journey was many months on the see across the atlantic.
