Martin Luther's key ideas that led to the Reformation included the belief in salvation through faith alone, the authority of the Bible over church teachings, and the priesthood of all believers. These ideas challenged the power and practices of the Catholic Church, leading to a split in Christianity. The Reformation had a significant impact on the Catholic Church, leading to reforms within the church and the establishment of new Protestant denominations. that the church was a great place and the only pace you can hve peace.
Martin Luther's ideas were threatening because his ideas went against what the Roman Catholics were teaching. The points he made shed light onto the truth in the Bible that salvation can not be earned. This idea took away the Catholic church's major source of income, paying to wipe out sins. God's love for all humans and their faith in his Son is all that's necessary. God gave his only Son to die and thereby paid the cost of all sin. All we humans must do is believe in Jesus Christ.

Voltaire was a proponent of religious tolerance and believed in the separation of church and state. He criticized religious institutions for their intolerance and advocated for freedom of thought and speech. His ideas influenced the development of the concept of religious freedom as a fundamental human right.
Martin Luther believed in a distinction between the roles of church and state, advocating that each has its own domain and responsibilities. He argued that the church should focus on spiritual matters, such as preaching the Gospel and administering sacraments, while the state should maintain order and justice. Luther emphasized that both institutions should work in harmony, but he rejected the idea of the church holding temporal power or controlling civil governance. This perspective laid the groundwork for the development of modern understandings of religious freedom and the separation of church and state.
