Samuel Greg treated his workers very well. He built them a house to live in known as the Apprentice House. They were clothed, fed, educated and taken care of. Unlike most factory or mill owners during the Industrial Revolution, Samuel cared for his workers and felt if they were taken care of, they would work harder, meaning his business would thrive, being of a benefit to both him and his workers.
