yes
Yes they did because those people from pearl harbor needed to be taght a lesson.... XD
To commemorate those who died in the bombing during WW2
I don't remember reading that any airmen were taken captive but one of the mini subs was captured on a neighboring island. There is a picture showing the men who piloted the subs in and around Pearl Harbor - all of those men are pictured except the man taken captive. He dishonored the Japanese therefore he lost his position in Japanese history.
Yes mail does run on Perl Harbor Day also known as (National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day). December 7 2020 in United States. Pearl Harbor Day is not a federal holiday – government offices, schools, and businesses do not close. Some organizations may hold special events in memory of those killed or injured at Pearl Harbor.
No, those shot down died in the crash or didn't surrender This is not correct. There was one POW taken at Pearl Harbor: Kazuo Sakamaki, a midget submarine officer.

NOT as low as those depicted in the Hollywood movie "Pearl Harbor" starring Ben Afleck. No plane flys that low in combat.
None. Those targets were not there.

Those were among the battleships in Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941.
All prepared to defend themselves and those that could, made an effort to put to sea.
While the Japanese government and military thought the Pearl Harbor bombing was a real victory and blessing. However, the Japanese people did not share those views all through the country.
