The MAIN goal of progressives is to help the lives of people to become better.
Progressives sought to eliminate government corruption to promote greater transparency, accountability, and efficiency in public administration. They believed that corrupt practices undermined democracy, eroded public trust, and favored special interests over the common good. By addressing corruption, progressives aimed to create a more equitable society, where government could effectively serve all citizens rather than a privileged few. Ultimately, their efforts were part of a broader movement to reform societal issues and improve the lives of ordinary people.

by the way they treat their people and through the way they manage:-)
