How did the battle of New Orleans start?

British Forces were threating the United States in the south. in late 1814, the British decided to attack New Orleans. From there, they hoped to sail up the Mississippi. But Andrew Jackson had turned in frontier fighters into a strong army. He took pensacola in spanish Flordia to keep the British from using it as a base.He then marched through Mobile and set up camp in New Orleans.

This Impression Issue is an act whereby men are forced by the government for induction into military service.
