The 13th Amendment ends slavery. A few years back a New York couple was caught keeping a few Indonesian women as slaves. They went to prison. Sometimes women are captured and forced into slavery as prostitution. That is a form of slavery. That is illegal. The 14th Amendment guarantees everyone except prisoners the same rights as are granted under the federal constitution. Before that amendment was passed, states could establish a religion. States did not have to try people by juries. States could run roughshod over people's rights. It took a long time before everyone gained the same rights.
The 15th Amendment gives everyone the right to vote. This was the basis of the voting rights act.
