At first the plan was to simply relocate the Jews, however that was expensive and not really practical. When the "final solution" was implemented, the plan changed to exterminating them and the camps themselves were changed to suit that purpose Auchwitz for example had train tracks routed directly to the entrence for expediency.
personally, i think the potato famine was absolutely worse than the Jewish holocaust.... the potato famine killed a million irish people.

There were a few. The invasion of the Soviet Union changed it for the worse, the battle of Kursk changed it for the better.

In my opinion, the holocaust was the worst ever, but if u want me to go worse, how about the black plague? It killed about 1/3 of Europe's population! Search it on google for more info.
