How did people die building pyramids?

many reasons, the main cause I would imagine would be heat exhaustion. building structures in 100+ degrees wearing little or no clothes wouldn't be fun! also, the weight of the stones used could do some serious damage if they were to fall on you.

What is the significance of pyramids in Ancient Egyptian culture?

The pyramids are one of the 7 wonders of the world, but if you are asking about their Importance in the past, the Pyramids were built as tombs, as the ancient Egyptians believed that there is another life after they die, so they built the pyramids & buried all their important things, gold ,food and drink with them in order to use them in the next life. & as great Kings, they wanted their tombs to be extraordinary. What happens if you fall off a building?

You'll die from hitting your head on the ground or hurting anything else on your body. Either you die or you'll end up getting paralyzed. But me, personally, would not jump off a building for some stupid reason. Dying depends on how far you fall to the ground, what you fall into, how you land, etc. However, to directly answer the question as posed- the building reduces in weight owing to the loss of your body weight from the building.

A pyramid took a lot of work and required a lot of strength; it also wasnt uncommon for people to die while making a pyramid. The kings were high and important, they had the power to make other people build the pyramids for them. The kings were too high to resort to physical labor.
