Like we are back in slavery dags.
African-American soldiers felt like they were fighting racism back home.
Blacks were treated bad in the 1930's because they were not of the same race as the whites, so they thought they shouldn't be treated the same. In the 1930's the colored people were treated badly because back then the "white" people didn't think "Black" people were just as equal to them. They didn't feel as though "blacks" were equal enough to be treated the same. That's why back then there were separate resturaunts, separate schools, separate bathrooms, separate water fountains, etc
Persian, American, Chinese, Spanish, Indian, African whatever ...we are all human beings who feel joy and sorrow, hope and loss, love and hate. So does it really matter? From an American Woman
Not 100 percent. A half Chinese half half white(American) person is considered Chinese-American. Chinese who stayed down for generations are also refereed to the same way or as American's. But more over they would be American. Calling them African-American would be like calling a random white guy, Irish-Dutch American. Many like to refer to Americans soley as a white term but it is not and they are either ignorant and negligent, putting one on you, or just feel more comfortable saying African American around a part black person with darker skin.
Badly. Singled out. Unfortunate.
he feel that he is treated badly and that the arrogance of monseigneur was way too high
The Cherokee Indians were treated very BADLY! Many of them died along the way.

Some examples are: Would you like to be treated this badly? or How would you feel if you lost someone you loved. These questions son't need an answer.
They felt as if they were still treated like slaves.
You feel bad. To feel badly would only mean to have poor sense of touch.

I'm a white male, and I feel more attracted to the African American women. I cannot explain it, it is just how I feel.
