when you pull up the info of the mega units, it says it requires a special resource, ie crom, roxia, or something else. you need to find that resource on the playing field and place a spec mine on it. then you can go to the mega tab and select whichever one you can build based on what you are mining with the spec mine. just make sure you have enough cash...- james
