Well, this problem does not have quite enough information to be able to give you a direct answer. But I shall try anyhow...

One method would be to use calculus and integrate the equation that describes cross sections of the shape. Another would be to wrap it up and submerse it in water to see the amount of water it displaces, and measuring that will give you the volume. Oh wait, a kaleidoscope is basically an extruded surface right? so find the area of the base and multiple by the height. I hope that helps.
