If you are under 18 and write, then you may try to send your article through e-mail, they will definitely read it and if it is good, I am sure they will use it (spares them work and money - not to mention: it is positive image building to involve the readers) If you meant photos, well in that case it depends on too many factors - like if you are pretty or not (sorry), if you are 'the type' they usually feature in the magazine, and if the editors are even interested in it (usually a good story helps in selling a photo). Also, having some photos of you by a competent photographer to send also comes handy... Also, I base my fairly general assumptions on the usual way media works, it would not entirely be unreasonable to contact them directly with your question, even if it may feel somewhat bold to you.
