Toga is a really simple garment, the most known version does not require sewing at all. You can make a toga by wrapping a bed sheet (which is presicely 3 yards long) around your chest and then throwing the hem over your shoulder.

But if you wish to make a more authentic toga, first study which era toga you would prefer to make. You propably need more fabric for the outfit, though.
