How does Santa get round the world in one night?

He starts In the east coast time zone at midnight. It takes exactly 1 hour to visit all east coast homes. Then he enters the central timezone at THEIR midnight and visits all homes within THEIR hour. Next he moves on to the mountain timezone at THEIR midnight and is there for 1 hour. Finally for the US mainland, he moves to the pacific timezone at THEIR midnight and is finished there by THEIR 1:00 am. so, if he keeps this up throughout the entire world, hes technically only gone for an hour from 12:00 am to 1:00am!

easy. Different time-zones mean he doesn't have to go all the way around the world in one night. he goes in vertical streches, and he does one time zone in one hour, then the next, then the next, then the next. This is easy because he doesn't have to carry all of the present of the world in his sleigh the whole time. on Christmas Eve, he sends half of the presents to the south pole. That way, he can go straight from the north pole (with his first load) to the south pole and pick up his next load. Then he goes back to the north pole and picks up another batch of presents and does the next time zone. he does this all the way around the earth, and always ends up back at the north pole in time for turkey dinner with Genevieve (Mrs. Santa). So you see, technically Santa does not do it all in one night, if you are referring to 'night' as the ten hours between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am in one time zone. However, he does always come in the nighttime individually in different time zones, always at midnight.
