The Korean War was a re-play of WWII. With the exception of the jets, aircraft used in the war were WWII planes; this includes the bombers like the B29 Superfortress. The tanks, rifles, machine guns, helmets, hand grenades, mortars, artillery, were also WWII equipment. In fact, many of the US pilots, airmen, tankers, infantrymen, artillerymen, etc. were WWII veterans.

Only 5 years separated Korea from WWII.

What was the most common German bomber plane?

The Heinkel He111 was the most numerous of the German WW2 bombers and the primary Luftwaffe bomber during the early stages of World War II.The He 111 was a fast medium bomber designed by Siegfried and Walter Günter in the early 1930s in violation of the Treaty of Versailles. The Germans insisted it was merely a transport aircraft, causing it to be dubbed a "Wolf in sheep's clothing". It was successful in the initial stages of World War II but its weaknesses became all too apparent during the Battle of Britain, when its weak defensive armament, relatively low speed, and poor manoeuvrability left it exposed. The twin-engined He 111 with its distinctive "greenhouse" nose, was used in a variety of roles on every front in the European theatre, as a strategic bomber during the Battle of Britain, a torpedo bomber during the Battle of the Atlantic, and a medium bomber and a transport aircraft on the Western, Eastern, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and North African fronts.

How fast was the plane going when it hit the second twin tower?

The plane was reaching 450 mph when it hit the south tower.
