None. It was a clash between Mexican forces and Anglo-speaking settlers.
Approximately 1500 were involved. As a side note, all Mexicans are Americans since Mexico is a part of the continent of North America.
No side. Serbia was not involved.
All 185 or so defenders died, along with 250-350 Mexicans. Some historians put the Mexican death toll at nearly 600. Either way, Santa Anna lost men he could not quickly replace, setting up his defeat by Houston at the battle of San Jacinto.
During the Texan War for Independence, there was a battle at the Alamo Mission in south-central Texas in 1836 because of the Mexican intent to seize the Alamo (and San Antonio) in pursuit of full control of their Texas territory. On the Texans' side, the intent was to prevent the Mexicans from gaining control of this base of operations while larger forces were gathering elsewhere.
the texans _____________________________ The battle of the Alamo was a tactical defeat for the Texans, who were slaughtered to the last man. However, nobody ever expected the Texans to win the battle; it was a holding action, designed to delay the Mexican army under General Santa Ana. During the two weeks while the Mexican army was attacking the defenders at the Alamo, the main force of the Texan army under Sam Houston was assembling. The delay at the Alamo proved deadly to the Mexican army, which was routed at the Battle of San Jacinto a month later. Additionally, the viciousness of the Mexican army at the Alamo and at Goliad (under Santa Ana's orders, they had executed any prisoners) inflamed the Texan soldiers who overran the Mexican forces and returned the favor.

Depending which side you were on. However 1 of the most famous people that was there were David Crockett. The loss was an important one for the fact that after this the battle cry "remember the alamo" had a huge impact on future armies during the war. All that lost their lives at the Alamo were important.
Santa Ana was the ruler of Mexico, so the Mexican army was on his side.
The major geometric figure in the design of the Alamo building is the shape of a cross. Attached to side of the building are several rooms of rectangular shape.

Travis, Bowie, Crockett for the good side, and for the bad side, Santa Anna.
