Yes. The color white in light represents all visible frequencies. The reason that a "white" object appears "colorless" is that it is reflecting the entire range of colors. A "black" object is reflecting much less light, absorbing light energy across the entire range of colors.

England has only known seven White Christmases in the entire twentieh century!
It depends what you mean by "White Christmas." The definition normally used by gamblers and book-makers is "a single snowflake falling", even if that snowflake falls in the middle of a mix of rain, sleet and snow. On that definition, there were 7 White Christmases in the 20th Century. However, if you define a White Christmas as snow cover, so the ground actually appears white, (even if the snow feel a day or so earlier, rather than on the 25th) then there were only 2 - in 1938 and 1970.

In the 20th century, notable years when England experienced a white Christmas included 1920, 1947, and 1962. The Christmas of 1981 was also marked by snow in many areas. These events were characterized by significant snowfall, leading to a festive winter landscape that has become a nostalgic ideal in English culture.
The last notable white Christmas in southern England occurred in 2020, when parts of the region experienced a light snowfall on Christmas Day. Prior to that, significant snowfall was rare, with the previous white Christmases recorded in 2010 and 2009. Generally, white Christmases in southern England are infrequent, as milder winters dominate the climate.
