At least 14 people died in Shays rebellion. Three of these were Militiamen, and the rest were either rebels (farmers) or civilians. Two rebels were executed at the end, so about 9 farmers were killed, and two were executed.

There were many great rebellions, but none like shays rebellion. Shays' Rebellion was a militia uprising.
Daniel Shays was motivated to lead Shays' Rebellion primarily due to economic hardship faced by farmers in post-Revolutionary War Massachusetts. Many were burdened by debt and high taxes, which threatened their livelihoods and property. The lack of government response to these issues and the perceived injustices of the state’s financial policies fueled their frustration, leading Shays to rally fellow farmers in an armed uprising against perceived tyranny and economic oppression.
Yes, one factor that enraged farmers in Massachusetts leading to Shays' Rebellion was the increase in state taxes. After the American Revolution, many farmers struggled with debt and economic hardship, and the state’s decision to raise taxes to pay off war debts exacerbated their financial burden. This frustration, combined with the lack of governmental support, fueled the rebellion as farmers sought to protest against what they perceived as unfair taxation and economic conditions.
Shays' Rebellion began in 1786 primarily due to economic distress faced by farmers in Massachusetts, who were burdened by high taxes and debts following the American Revolutionary War. Many farmers, including Daniel Shays, were unable to pay these debts, leading to the seizure of their lands and property. The rebellion was sparked by the government's failure to address these grievances, prompting armed protests against tax and debt collection practices. This uprising highlighted the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation and ultimately contributed to the call for a stronger federal government.

Farmers, many of whom were Revolutionary War veterans, rebelled against the Massachusetts government because of heavy debts and high taxes.
War causes debt in most cases, and after the American Revolutionary War, the new United States had to come up with a way to pay their debts to European countries. One decision that left many people in significant trouble was to increase land taxes on farmers, and this created tremendous difficulties, especially between farmers and merchants. There was inequity between the taxes farmers had to pay and the taxes merchants paid. Smaller farmers in the Eastern states couldn't meet their debts, leading to uprisings like the Shays' Rebellion.
Shay's rebellion only involved the United States.
Shays' Rebellion began in 1786 when a group of farmers in western Massachusetts, led by Daniel Shays, protested against economic injustices, including high taxes and aggressive debt collection. The immediate catalyst for the uprising was the economic hardship faced by these farmers following the Revolutionary War, which left many in debt and facing foreclosure on their properties. The rebellion escalated when the protesters attempted to seize control of a Federal armory in Springfield in early 1787. This uprising highlighted the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation and ultimately led to calls for a stronger national government.
OK so here's how it really happened. Shays Rebellion- All of the farmers rebelled because the government was not helping them financially. They burned down government buildings. Congress had no right to stop them and had no control over them according to the Articles of Confederation, so they just watched the in terror. THIS BROUGHT EVERYONE TO REALIZE THAT THE ARTICLES OF CONFEDERATION WAS TOO WEAK. The convention was called to fix it but we realized that it had too many flaws and just created a new constitution. Hoped that helped :)

because farmers rebelled and they went to a courthouse while the members of the congress had to call the Massachusetts militia because they thought the farmers would attack them.
Shay's Rebellion grew out of the fiscal practices of the state of Massachusetts. Following the war, a former Continental Army soldier, Daniel Shays, led a revolt against what he and other farmers believed was economic tyranny. The post war depression had hit farmers particularly hard, and many lost their farms to debt. The rebellion attempted to over- throw the state government, stopping taxation and foreclosures, but was put down.
Farmers who couldn't pay their taxes or loans.Farmers felt like they were treated unfair and so they attacked the courts. Then Massachusetts Legislature sent a Militia to drive the farmers away.
