Frank Hornby did not build any houses in Maghull, he lived in two; 'The Hollies' Station Road (the first house outside of London to have a Blue Plaque) and 'Quarry Brook' which he bought, along with other associated properties from Lord Vesty, this house is now part of Maricourt High School.
