The exact total may never be known. What is known is Manson and his group he called "the family" were responsible for the murders of at least 9 people in Los Angeles in 1969. Although suspected of far more murders, additional charges were never filed for lack of evidence.
Point of Interest:I included victim Sharon Tate's unborn baby in the (9) victims. He was named Paul posthumously by his father, director Roman Polanski. Since Pres. Clinton passed the unborn baby bill into law, Paul's murder would have been included as a separate murder. Brought about by the murder of Laci and Connor Peterson, unborn infants now have rights under this new law, simply put, if you kill a pregnant women you will be charged with 2 counts of murder, not 1.
We may never know for sure. He is serving time for murder and conspiracy because he ordered at least 9 murders carried out by Manson's followers calling themselves The Family.
Gary Hinman, a music teacher, got involved with the family and it cost him his life. Manson cut his ear off while Hinman was tied up, then ordered the others to finish the job.
In August 1969 on Manson's order, several family members killed actress Sharon Tate, Jay Seabring, Abigail Folger, Voytek Frykowski, Steven Parent, and Paul Polanski (Sharon Tate's unborn child), Leno LaBianca and Rosemary LaBianca.
These deaths are known to be related to Manson and his group of followers. Upon additional research however it has been revealed that the family and Manson are responsible for many more deaths, some I believe Manson did himself.
OK first the question is how many PEOPLE does cocaine kill a year ? the answer to that is 10 people each minute

Hi! im researching the Manson Family Cult aswell, according to my findings i have found there are 9 members involved in the cult, including Charles Manson himself the leader! There were also the pet dogs which were treated at a higher rank to that of the members of the cult, Charles Manson believed that the dogs are better than people and should eat before humans. In which, the dogs would eat first and the members would eat the left overs. i have much more information. if needed ask! Monique! :)

Charles Manson did not kill any of the victim's
Fun is not the exact word that applies. Control would be closer to the target. People that do what Manson did need to feel control over other humans. And what could be more powerful than someone that decides if you will live or die? Manson's followers would say that 'death was Charlie's trip', and it was. Killing made Manson, a man that stood 5ft 2in, feel bigger than he really was. Unfortunately for Manson, it was just an illusion, a product of his distorted thinking process. And like most serial killers, no matter how many times they kill, it is never a permanent feeling. They have to kill over and over to get that same feeling.
Too many to name, but Lindbergh was the first to do it SOLO.
People who like industrial music or him.

Below is a link to a list of Manson's family members. It should be noted however that many of the young people that may have had contact with Manson and his regular group would just drift in and out due to the transient ways of the people of that era.
if they kill people all of them
No, Marilyn Manson condones the profane, but in the eyes of many, he is a hero and inspiration.
No. Many people confused him with another actor, but he was never an actor in that television show.
Manson was convicted of the Tate-LaBianca murders which occured on August 8 and 9, 1969. He also ordered the killing of music teacher Gary Hinman but I have never heard if charges were ever brought against him for Hinman's murder. Manson and his 'family' are suspected in many more killings but with many there is a lack of evidence, some there is a lack of a body. People that crossed Manson's path many times just disappeared.
The famed Charles Manson you are referring to actually never killed anyone. He manipulated 9 people into killing FOR him. According to the guards in his prison he has been nothing but peaceful in his 40 years of imprisoment.
Alice Cooper. Though now many people associate shock rock with Marilyn Manson.
