IF you are referring to the Model 83/ 183 BOLT ACTION shotguns, these had a 2 shot magazine, plus 1 shell in the chamber.
Hello, The question is for the Mossberg 80, makes no sense to give the answer for the Mossberg 83.
My Mossberg 80 holds 4 shots. it appears to have a clip but it is just a case for the Top loader. this weapon was made from 1933 to 1936 Only, it is Bolt Action and even after all these years works flawlessly.
Pretty cool really and not really worth all that much, you can pick one up for between 60.00 and 150.00.
this is not just the best answer, it is the only one. LOL
They don't carry ammo in boxes. Basic load depends on the weapon system. 210 rounds for the M4 or M16, 600 - 800 rounds for the M249, 800 - 1000 rounds for the M240.
