A colonial farrier used screws primarily for their practicality and versatility in metalworking. Screws provided a reliable method for fastening parts together, such as horseshoes to hooves or components of various tools. Their ability to create strong, adjustable joints made them essential for ensuring the durability and functionality of equipment used in horse care and other tasks. Additionally, screws were easier to use than traditional nails in some applications, allowing for better repairs and modifications.

To remove the headlight assembly on a 2006 Jeep Commander, first, open the hood and locate the headlight assembly. Remove the screws or clips securing the assembly, typically found at the top and possibly on the sides. You have to remove the front grill. Gently pull it upwards and then swing it outwards towards you and pull free, but be careful the clips at the bottom are rather fragile and can break easily. There are 3 large cross headed screws one at the top of the heal light unit which screws in to the inner wing of the car, the other two are located behind where the grill was located. With the screws removed unplug the headlight from the wiring harness and then holding the headlight unit swing it outwards and pull it free of the car. Refitting is the reversal of the above procedure. Note you might have to have your headlights realigned afterwards. TIP: Mark the headlight unit with a pencil so that you can make sure it goes back in in exactly the same position. Hope this helps.
The entire front grill must be removed, by removing (8) 7mm screws, parking light assemby must be removed to reach 7mm screw behind it. There are( 4) T15 maybe T10 screws holding each assembly. Two of the 7mm screws holding grill are in center one just above bumper and other towards the top, you'll need an extension in order to reach them through grill. Unplug parking lights and lift grill up and out to remove. You will now be able to see the (4) 10mm screws holding headlight assembly in place.
