The Colosseo is 159 ft high with a facade of three tiers of arches and an attic. There are 80 doorways that connect the different floors and the spectators were arranged by rank. Humble citizens and women were at the top, while the emperor had a special box . Tickets were wooden plaques carved with entrance numbers that can still be seen above the doors/arches. The system was very efficient and could hold 70,000 people.
