The President has the duty of negotiating and signing treaties with the advice of the Senate. He also appoints the Secretary of State and the department of State reports to him. He may hold summit meetings with other heads of state and iron out conflicts with other nations. He has the power to order military strikes which can sometimes makes other countries want to negotiate.
To attend meetings and to vote with his/her state when it comes to the floor to pick a canadate for the office of President.
The Convention chose George Washington to preside over the meetings.
Cabinet members typically work in government buildings such as the White House or the relevant government department's headquarters. They also attend cabinet meetings, which are usually held in the White House or in other locations designated by the president.
Mahadev Desai worked as the private secretary to Mohandas Gandhi. He was a close associate of Gandhi and played a crucial role in managing his correspondence, organizing meetings, and assisting with administrative tasks. Desai worked closely with Gandhi for nearly two decades until his death in 1942.

The seating order at cabinet meetings most accurately reflects the importance, in the Presidents eyes, of those cabinet departments. It is far more likely the Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense would be seated closer to the President than the Secretary of Education.

Presidents meet with members of their cabinet on a regular basis, and President Obama is no exception. While a meeting of the entire cabinet may not occur very often, individual meetings with the various heads of agencies occurs fairly frequently. For example, the president may meet with his Secretary of Defense or his Secretary of State or his Secretary of the Treasury (or another other cabinet member), as issues come up and such meetings are needed. Recently, as the drought in the mid-western United States worsened, President Obama held meetings with his Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, to formulate strategies to help those being impacted.
Common roles in Student Council include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Class Representatives. The President leads meetings and represents the student body, the Vice President supports the President and steps in when needed, the Secretary keeps records and communications, the Treasurer manages the budget, and Class Representatives gather feedback and ideas from their peers.
Each president has a different personal style. Some have regular meetings, and others have meetings as needed.

There have been two meetings that come to mind as of this writing. April 20, when the President charged them all with finding 100 million dollars in budget cuts may have been their first meeting. There was also a weekend retreat meeting at Blair House six months into the President's first term.
Mikhail Gorbachev never lived in the United States, but he made several visits throughout his political career, particularly during his time as General Secretary of the Soviet Union. He participated in various summits and events, including meetings with U.S. Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush. After his political career, he visited the U.S. for lectures and public speaking engagements, but he maintained his residence in Russia.
