Many people dispute the mummy found recently by Zahi Hawass was in fact that of Hatshepsut. Since there is evidence that she is the Queen Sheba who saw Solomon and his temple, and that she converted to belief in the God of Israel, the Egyptians forced her abdication when she proceeded to display this fact at her so-called 'mortuary' temple at Deir el-Bahari. The mystery behind her abdication/death or banishment is explained by the Biblical account of her visit to the Holy Land (Punt or Israel).

State religions like those in the United Kingdom (Church of England), Iran or ancient Egypt do not tolerate their monarchs publically discussing their private beliefs. Queen Elizabeth does not agree with all the tenets of the Anglican church and has her own personal chaplain. That is why Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles had to confess their sins of adultery in the Queen's private chapel because the Anglican hierarchy no longer believes in the tenets of basic Christianity. The current leader of the Anglicans is in fact a Druid. Hathsepsut faced the same dilemmas. Thus her temple was permitted while Egyptians believed she was honouring Egyptian gods but when they found out Hatshepsut intended mentioning her true faith, they revolted and she was forced off the throne. Since Hatshepsut's body was not in her temple, it is much more likely she abdicated, moved away and lived out the rest of her life amongst her Ethiopian relatives and kinsmen. Almost certainly, her body, if anywhere, lies somewhere in the Sudan.

a mortuary temple IS NOT A TOMB. The body is not laid to rest in a mortuary temple. A mortuary temple is a form of temple. Hatshepsut's burial place was in the valley of the kings. However, her mummy had been moved and her treasures stolen. Her mummy had been positively identified by:

a)it was a high quality mummification, of the quality of a royal

b)it had the arms crosse which signifies a royal of that era

c)a small box with the cartouche of Hatshepsut that contained her mummified organs was found. It also contained a tooth. This tooth was the tooth missing from the royal mummy

d)the mummy was the right approximate age

while it is an interesting theory that Hatshepsut and Sheba were one and the same, there is not enough to go on to say that she was. I'm afraid it's just not possible to place Hatshepsut forward in time 500 years. Doing so would mean discounting the reins of hundred's of pharaohs.
