What is referred to as "pencil lead" is actually graphite. Lead is a much too toxic substance to be used in pencils. If the world's graphite supply were top run out there would be no more pencils in school or anywhere else.
There are 2 easy ways to check, but both require some extra equipment. The first, and easiest, is to use a power supply tester. If and when you have one, unplug the power, emove the power supply connector from the mobo, plug that into the tester, and the results should be immediate. Most of the testers have different colored LEDs to indicate the results. The second is to connect a different power supply of the same or greater voltage to your computer, if you have one. If your problem goes away, then it was the PSU, if not, keep troubleshooting. Good luck Bob

If Earth's supply of graphite ran out, school supplies like pencils and markers would need to be made with alternative materials. This could lead to higher costs for these items and potentially impact the availability of certain writing tools in schools. Schools might need to invest in digital devices for writing and drawing tasks to compensate for the lack of traditional graphite-based supplies.
