I've researched several airgun catalogues and can not find a Benjamin model 217. However the 17 at the end of model 217 indicated that it's a .177 caliber air gun. The name Franklin added to Benjamin was a marketing ploy to sell the air gun. Benjamin Franklin had nothing to do with it. Walter Benjamin invented the Benjamin line of airguns back in the late 1800's.
Please recheck the model number and give me some sort of rating like Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good or Excellent on the current condition of the air gun so I can give it a value (If we ever identify it)
999 hundred pounds
it's worth $25 - $35
Benjamin Franklin appears on the 100 dollar bill.
That one should not sacrifice or spend too much of their time or money on things that are not worth it.
They sell for as little as $7.95 to 12.95 each.

The 1960 Benjamin Franklin half dollar can be worth 15.00 dollars or more. The specific value of the coin will vary depending on its condition.
Uh, that's Benjamin Franklin. $100 bills are call "Bens" only as a matter of slang. I modified your question accordingly.1959 Franklin halves are pretty common in collections and are mostly worth their silver metal value only, about $6.
At present it's worth about $10, maybe a couple dollars more if it's in uncirculated condition.
So many were struck the value is for the silver, about $6.00

There is no such animal. The Franklin stamp of that era was a one cent stamp.
