Germany was treated very badly at the Treaty of Versailles because they got the blame for WW1 although they never started the war and also because they have to pay for all the damage that happened in the war, they lost their land.

Germany was only allowed 100.000 soldiers through out the war which was making them loose the war and they only had a short supply of food and water which made 3 quarter million die from hunger.
