Anastasia was killed in 1917 by the rebels who won the February revolution. The royal family was brought into a room and was given two chairs, being told that they were getting their picture taken. Instead men opened doors with guns and killed the entire family, this led to Lenins takeover of Russia
No, her Imperial Highness, the Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova of Russia died at the age of 17. She had never had a boyfriend, or even anything more than a rumored crush on a kitchen boy named Leonid Sednov. If she had given birth, the child would have been killed with her in order to avoid Russia from having a proper heir to the throne.
The last Tsar of Russia, and his entire immediate family, were killed by revolutionaries, and in fact, were murdered. Previous to the First World War, Russia was a Tsarist empire (ruled by a single monarch, the Tsar). However, during the First World War, the Russian Revolution occurred, and Russia's political system was changed to that of a communist country. Since the new government is not ruled by a Tsar, Russia is no longer led by any monarch. There is a current Grand Duchess of Russia, whom I think would be the nearest blood relative from the Romanov line, but all the Tsar's relatives that escaped the revolution have never proclaimed nor have been called upon in that type of capacity, but the blood-lines are proven through previous marriages with other royal families. Notably, there is a Grand Duchess from Russia that is currently in the line of succession to the british throne.
Yes she did, all the bodies of those killed in the Ipatiev house have been recovered and DNA has revealed Franziska Schanzowska (Anna Anderson) was in no way related to The Romanovs, therefore not Anastasia Many say yes, but I say no. Read about Anna Anderson, I believe she was Anastasia.

JULY 17 1918
Assuming you mean the Grand Duchess... no, she wasn't married; she was killed when she was only 17.
Princess Anastasia was believed to be shot in a basement with the rest of her family during the World War 2 (Germany Vs. Russia) by some soldiers, who then "melted" their body to get rid of any DNA.
The usual spelling of the female given name is Anastasia. It is notably the name of a young Grand Duchess of Russia, killed at age 17 along with her father Tsar Nicholas II in 1918 -- several women later claimed to be the Duchess, who had somehow escaped execution.
I'm going to assume you're talking about the real Grand Duchess Anastasia. She lived in 20th Century Russia in the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg. After the fall of the Romanov Empire, the family was placed under house arrest and later sent to a Governor's house in Tobolsk, located in Siberia. The family was later moved to the Ipatiev House, a mansion in the anti-tsarist mining town of Yekaterinburg. It was in Yekaterinburg that Anastasia was shot and killed. 80 years later, it was where she was buried alongside her family.
No. Anastasia was killed in Russia when the revolution happened in the early 1900's. Earhart was much later in the 40's.

Anastasia Nicholaevna Romonova was killed along with the rest of her family on 17/18 July 1918 by the Bolsheviks under command of Lt. Jakob Yurovsky. DNA matter form the gravesite of the Imperial Family conclusively proves that Nicholas, the Tsar, Alexandra, the Empress the Tsarevitch Alexei and Grand Duchess' Olga, Tatiana, Marie and Anastasia perished together in the cellar room of the Ipatiev house in Ekaterinburg 17/18 July 1918. We must put an end to all of this nonsense that one or more of the Imperial Russian family may have survived. Sad story it may be we must maintain historical accuracy for the sake of future scholars and the rest of mankind. Jay W Fisher supv Romanov history 17 October 2009 ======================================================= Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna was born June 18, 1901. The Bolsheviks killed her family July 17, 1918, when Anastasia would have just turned 17. She was originally presumed to have been killed with her family, but some have speculated that she escaped death. This view is highlighted in a fictitious manner in the 1997 movie "Anastasia," which was the first animation feature film produced by Fox Animation Studios. Later this spring, DNA testing of remains found near the Tsar's family's mass grave will be concluded to determine if the remains belong to Anastasia.
Resbutin
It was popularly believed that there was one survivor from the cellar in Yekaterinburg when the Romanov family were killed in 1918 - the fourth daughter, Grand Duchess Anastasia. A woman, arguably Anastasia, appeared out of nowhere and provided sufficient doubt to the argument that she may have been Anastasia. Her claim was neither proven beyond doubt, or disproven convincingly. The Russian royal family in exile were not convinced, although at least two of them showed interest. (Anastasia by Peter Kurth 1983). More recently, excavations in present day Russia have revealed what we are told are the remains of all of the Romanov family, all members accounted for by DNA testing.
