She was a slave, and she did not eat well enough.. so she passed away.
NOONOONOO! she was injured because her master stuck her head with an iron pan and damaged her brain. So that resulted in siezeres and sleeping spell (p.s. look up the iron pan thing I'm not positive it was a pan)
Harriet Tubman did not die as a child
At her age of twelve, she underwent a serious head injury. Once she saw a slave escaping from his master's field without permission. "The slave's overseer", Harriet said to stop the slave from escaping. She refused! The overseer threw a two-pound weight, which struck Harriet and broke her skull.
I have never heard of any significant injury while helping slaves but harriet had a major childhood injury resulting in random episodes where she appears to fall asleep for 30 seconds to 30 minutes. The injury was located on her left temple and her left eye is lower than the right because of this injury. The injury was caused by a blow to the head from a 2 lb weight thrown by an angry slave owner. Hope this helped! :3

Harriet Tubman got hit in the forehead by the weight leaving a big gash. That is why she always wore a bandana around her forehead.
