Nathaniel Bacon had sympathy for the frontiersmen and poor farmers in Virginia who felt marginalized and oppressed by the colonial government, particularly due to their lack of protection against Native American attacks. His frustrations with Governor William Berkeley's refusal to support aggressive expansion into Native American territories mobilized Bacon and his followers, leading to Bacon's Rebellion in 1676. The rebellion was driven by a desire for land and a voice in governance, highlighting the tensions between different social classes and interests in the colony.
Massive question! Too big to really answer here. In my humble opinion if the system under which you suffer is unjust then yes rebellion or revolution is a good thing. However this is really a moral/ethical question and a system that I find unfair might be fine to others. In and of it's self rebellion is neither good nor bad it simply is.

Colonial rebellion against the British Empire was primarily driven by issues of taxation without representation, as colonists resented being taxed by a Parliament in which they had no voice. Additionally, restrictive trade policies and the desire for greater autonomy fueled discontent. The Enlightenment ideals of liberty and self-governance also inspired colonists to challenge British authority, leading to a push for independence.
