ENIAC's first real use was in December, 1945 through January, 1946 where it simulated Edward Teller's original H-Bomb design the "Classical Super" proving that that design could not work. After that it was moved to Aberdeen Proving Grounds where it was used for many years for its original design purpose of calculating firing tables for new artillery pieces.
