Coins are for wealth, a ring is for marriage, a thimble predicts spinsterhood for a woman, while a button predicts bachelorhood for a man.
I'll answer yours if you answer mine...lol. Yours means that whoever was making the pudding, button fell off their shirt into your pudding. Now heres my question. What does it mean when you throw out a button and it keeps coming back?
A Bragger button was seen primarily in the southern United States. In the southern states in the late 1700s through the 1800s it was customary for a plantation owner to place a hand made button on top of the post of the interior main staircase to signify that his home and land were owned outright with no monies due toward the eventual ownership...meaning, that there was no mortgage owed on the plantation. Bragger buttons were fairly small (about the size of a silver dollar) and were permanently affixed to the middle of the main staircase post. They were generally made of Ivory or bone and were hand-carved with the owner's initials or a family crest design.

zhu zhu pets have three buttons a back button a head button and a nose button. the back button makes them run. the head button turns on talk mode. talk mode is when you press the button and they make random noises. the nose button makes just one noise.
The superstition goes that if a man finds a button in pudding he will become famous.

It likely indicates that a food handler lost a button from their clothing at some point during the production, packaging or dishing out of your pudding.
Basically, it means nothing! I'm 72 and English. Traditionally, the Christmas dinner my family would have sat down to in Liverpool, England, would be a turkey dinner and all the trimmings. Only when the pudding was served would warnings of beware of the 'silver sixpences' (old English coinage saved over many years just for this Christmas occasion) be issued by the more mature family members to the younger (children) generation. Children would be warned not to swallow the coins should they find one!If an unmarried man finds a a button in his plum pudding, he should be grateful that he has avoided swallowing the button (and check the button on his trouser flies is still there) and nothing else. Anything else is simply superstition!
It is supposed to mean that he will stay a bachelor.
In America, we celebrate Christmas on December 25th. If this helped you, hit the thumbs up button! ;D
Bad luck! Something strange went on in the kitchen. I would advise you to not eat there anymore.

By lights and a cord that goes into the wall then you push a button and BAM! there ya have it!
All you have to do is hold down the power button and home button for a while, like on the IPad. I'm not sure how long, but I got my Nook on Christmas and it happened to me TWICE!
