well it wasnt until after the French and Indian war that England really tried to totally control the colonies. They imposed taxes, such as the stamp act, and the tea tax. Some of the colonies had governors apointed by the British to run their colony. They also didnt want the colonies to engage in trade with other countries so they would try to control ports. The proclamation of 1763 also stated that colonists couldn't move into the land west of the Appalachian mountains.

How did each of the three colonies benifit from slavery?

The three regions of the American colonies—New England, the Middle Colonies, and the Southern Colonies—benefited from slavery in various ways. The Southern Colonies relied heavily on enslaved labor for their large-scale agricultural production, particularly in cash crops like tobacco, rice, and cotton, which drove their economy. The Middle Colonies utilized enslaved people for farming and skilled labor, contributing to the growth of cities and trade. In New England, while less dependent on slavery, the region still benefited indirectly through the trade of enslaved people and the profits from goods produced in slave-dependent economies.

Before 1776 what is now the US was a collection of thirteen colonies under the control of France.?

This statement is incorrect; before 1776, the territory that is now the United States was primarily a collection of thirteen colonies under British control, not France. These colonies were established along the Atlantic coast and operated independently in many ways, though they were subject to British governance. France did have colonial interests in North America, notably in Canada and the Mississippi River region, but the thirteen colonies themselves were predominantly British. The American Revolution began in 1775, leading to the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

How did the Great War for Empire change relationship between England and its American colonies?

In some ways it brought it closer temporarily because the colonies didn't want to side with the French because they wanted their land and they thought the French would control them if they defeated England. But at the same time the colonies were already pushing towards independence and wanted to get rid of Britain and their imposed taxes and laws. But in order to move forward the French had to be defeated so the colonies sided with Britain temporarily. The relationship was weakened through this because of America's independent values.
