Ivan IV Vasilyevich (Ivan the Terrible) of Russia was born in 1530 and became the Grand Prince of Moscow when he was 3 years old, in 1533.However, when he was 16, he was crowned as Tsar of All Russia, on January 16th, 1547, maintaining this position until his death 37 years later, on March 28th, 1584. He thus reigned as Tsar for 37 years, 2 months and a week or so.
