Britain is probably got the best army in the world. Even though it is small in size it is very powerfull nation, it has managed to won wars against many countries of the world and never backs down. If there army wasent the best in the world why would the Americans want them to be fighting along side them in Iraq and Afganistan. The British army also has the best trained units. These include the SAS and the SBS, so this showes that there army is one of the best in the world.

Depends what you mean by best. America has a large army, and good equipment. If you're talking about skill in individual soldiering it is difficult to compare with other contries. America certainly has skilled and professional soldiers, but so does the United Kingdom and most of Europe.

In some ways, yes. For a large army it is very mobile and able to go almost anywhere in the world in a reasonable time. In other ways, the US Army is lacking compared to some other armies.
