Is Hitler going to Heaven or Hell?

First of all, it is important to note that he was a Christian and feverishly followed the teachings of The Bible.

As we all know, the crucial requisite for absolution is asking for forgiveness, which means repenting that you have sinned and sincerely avoiding ever to commit the same sin again.

Since Hitler truly believed that the policy he took up was correct, that the Jews were "Undermenschen" (under-people), and that all but his kind should be exterminated, he probably wouldn't betray his sheer conviction and atone for something he considered right. However, from this point of view, there still is a (very) slight possibility that he might have internally (for he never did it publicly) asked for forgiveness and sworn never the persecute anyone again. In which case, he could stand a chance of going to heaven.

BUT, there is something else. According to the Bible, those who commit suicide will go straight to hell. Well, it is a known fact the Hitler did blow his brains out, which pretty much puts paid all his chances of going to heaven. ("No murderer has eternal life" 1 John 3:15)

If I were entitled to express my opinion, I'd say he is in hell.

A:If there is indeed a hell, Hitler is in hell. This will not bring back the lives of many millions who suffered or were killed under his tyranny, and it is better not to look for spiritual revenge. It is enough that he died an ignomious death as a loser and coward.

No man on earth judged him to be condemned to hell, so they couldn't say.

The only way to be absolutely certain that a person has gone to heaven is canonization, which means they have been named a saint, which Hitler hasn't. According to the Church, there is no positive way to tell if a person has gone to Hell. Therefore, it cannot be determined where his soul is. (Hitler was Catholic, and so am I, so that's why I used the Catholic teaching here.)

Alot of people think that Adolf Hitler (AH) was a person that had no sense of deceny who just wanted to kill people. Considering the fact that he spent his young adult years in poverty, and a bunch crap going on at that time, we all know he was misled and misguided. Everyone will probably disagree with me when I say that AH was infact, very religous. As a young boy, he was DEFINITLY very religous. Mainly because he was misled in early adulthood, he formed really weird ideas about race, religion and politics, which is totally human and you can not blame him for that. When he came to power, he used those ideas and his wonderfully powerful speaking abilities to make people think the way he did. His political party was the only one that looked as if it was the only on that could raise Germany out of the depression, and more and more people believed this after AH broke the treaty of Verstallies, which strengthened the country and there weren't anymore political outbursts because AH banned all other political parties, which lowered the numbers of criminal activity. Since Marxist press and social democratic press were brought up by the Weimar republic (which signed the Versatilles treaty) were as he stated in his book, "were directed predominatly by Jews",when he built up the "Aryan" race he killed Jews not because he had the power to or because he wanted to, but because he thought it was best for his country, he excluded them from the Aryan race because he thought they were responsible for Germany's suffering and could not be pure German, so he killed them, which obviously a sin. Now I know nothing about the Bible, but by basic knowledge I would think that if AH believed in God and knew what he did was wrong, I strongly believe that AH went to Heaven. But, since he killed himself he might wait in Limbo or purgatory or something like that until his real time has come. Like I said, I might be wrong. I have no clue and only God knows, but I strongly believe, and hope, that AH went to Heaven, I mean, he's only human! On a related note, please don't hate him just because he killed people. I love him but I hate him for what he did.
