My name is Terry, last time I looked I am a girl. It's a name that was very popular in the mid fifties. Used more for boys than girls. Due too that, many ppl think my name is a nick name. It's not. I've been given forms to fill out, when handed in, got handed back and told, "full name, please." So I would slide it back and say, "It doesn't get any fuller than that.". For some reason guys seem to like it. They think it's hot....seriously? It's a name, it's mine and it could be a lot worse. It's kind of unique, their really aren't a lot of girls named Terry. They are usually Theresa, Teri, Terri, etc. So, for that reason I like it. I don't like it when it gets confused and ppl expect me to be male and they give a look of surprise when we meet. I'm thankful I wasn't given a common name like Debra, I was almost a Debra. Thank God, my grandmother's neighbor stole the name for her baby girl. I think I would have preferred Tess or Tessa or maybe Tia. But, then maybe I wouldn't be who I am if I had a different name.

What else can I help you with?
