The titanic was a VERY popular ship. It cost an awful lot to get onboard, so that gives it away. After it sank, the other twin ships sank in other ways too. Strange or what?
People were sad because a lot of people - about 1500 - died all of a sudden.
They all drowned. They remained on deck playing as the ship sank. By all accounts they were a selfless and brave lot.
When the RMS Titanic hit the iceberg, there was probably more icebergs floating around nearby. As the RMS Titanic sank, I would believe that more and more wreckage would float around the ship. Things that didn't go down with the ship, (or sank by itself), would also be drifting around. This could be wooden pieces, luggage, clothes and possibly other personal belongings that was had the ability to stay afloat. In addition, there was 20 lifeboats in the water at the time the RMS Titanic sank. It was, sadly, also a lot of people (with or without life vests) floating around in the icy water.
Because the titanic was, at the time, the largest ship ever built. As it it was on its maiden (first) voyage, it hit an iceberg and sank. The stories about passengers on the ship and the ship itself are quite entertaining, which gained it a lot of popularity.
The titanic sank in the middle of the Northern Atlantic. You can go on google and type in "Where did the Titanic Sink". You should be directed to a page called gearthhacks.com. Then there should be a map of the world and it should have a red stick with a black dot. You can zoom in and out. You can't see the actual titanic though. Hope this helps!:) I know a lot about titanic!
The ship broke up. A lot of people froze to death in icy north Atlantic ocean waiting for rescue. The next morning the Carpathia rescued the survivors.
