Johnny Tremain is a fictional character. So is Rab. This book is historical fiction, with some made-up and some real life characters.
The movie "Johnny Tremain," based on the novel by Esther Forbes, offers a dramatized depiction of the American Revolutionary War, focusing on the experiences of a young apprentice in Boston. While it incorporates real historical events and figures, such as Paul Revere and the Sons of Liberty, some aspects are simplified or altered for narrative purposes. Overall, it captures the spirit of the era but may not fully convey the complexities and realities of the war. Thus, while it provides a glimpse into the Revolutionary War, it should not be viewed as a strictly accurate historical account.
Johnny Knoxville's real name is Philip John Clapp.

No. He was awarded the title "Kentucky Colonel" in 1935 because of the chicken he cooked. He then decided to call himself Colonel Sanders.

Surprisingly, there have been very few. One notable exception was Johnny Tremain, which dealt with a sort of junior-grade Paul Revere type ( Revere is in the film- as I recall- and there are unusual Patriot songs- some of which were written for the movie)- that has a Revolutionary war setting. Johnny Tremain was produced by Disney productions. the song ( Follow the Liberty tree) is synthetic- though the Sons of Liberty organization was real. The Patriot, about Colonial officer Francis Marion ( who was also known as the Swamp Fox) was a more recent l776-era combat film.
