Louis Marx Toy Company went into business in 1919, so it might be debatable if it's a World War One toy tank, but it sounds like it is very old. It might be worth a surprising amount (it is a vigorous collector's field). Put it on Ebay, and see what the highest offer is - pictures are essential, of course. You might be amazed. But whatever the highest offer is, that is what it's worth, Ebay is an excellent barometer in that regard.
Worlds of Wonder - toy company - ended in 1990.

During World War II metal was rationed. The government had to approve the use of metal in manufacturing as it was needed for the war effort. Many toy companies were forced to make wooden toys where before the war they would have made them from metal.

It depends on the toy. Some have the hammer. Like the cap toys. Some have a cheap metal piece connected straight to the trigger.

it is made with metal. And toy robots are made with plastic and mabe a little bit of metal!!
You are more likely to burn yourself on a metal toy than on a plastic toy because metal has a higher thermal conductivity. This means that metal absorbs and retains heat more efficiently than plastic, causing it to reach higher temperatures when exposed to sunlight. As a result, when you touch a metal toy, it can transfer that heat to your skin more quickly, increasing the risk of burns. In contrast, plastic tends to absorb less heat and does not conduct it as effectively, making it less likely to cause burns.
A slinky toy can conduct electricity because it is made of metal, which is a good conductor of electricity. When a voltage is applied to the slinky, the electrons in the metal can move freely, allowing the electricity to flow through it.
