izal's last trip
Jose Rizal was a Filipino nationalist and revolutionary. His last words before he was executed and died were "consummatum est".
The poem 'My Last Farewell' was Jose Rizal's patriotic goodbyes. First to his country, his family and above all to his Heavenly Father. It was written by Philippine national hero Dr. José Rizal on the eve of his execution on 30 December 1896.
Jose Protacio Rizal's last name is actually Mercado (or I think that's it) But he changed it into Rizal because the family name Mercado belonged to two priests who were executed in the Philippines when it was Under Spanish Rule. SO if he used that surname, he would not be able to enter The school (I Forgot which one). So he changed his last name...

Jose Rizal's first trip abroad was to Spain by boat. In Manila, he boarded the Salvadora to Singapore. In Singapore, he took another boat, Djemnah, to continue his trip to Spain. The boat went to Punta de Gales, Colombo, through the Suez Canal to Aden, Port Said, City of Naples, then Marseilles. From Marseilles, Rizal took a train to Barcelona.
One Trip Abroad was created in 1930.

the last travel of Rizal abroad (as far as i know) was when he sailed up to Cuba to work as a physician but unfortunately, he was arrested in Spain and was brought back to Manila and was convicted for the case of rebellion against the Spanish colonial regime (it was because of the revolution of the Katipuneros) and on Dec. 30 1896 at 7:03 am,morning in bagumbayan, he was executed.

Jose Rizal was encouraged to study abroad by his older brother, Paciano, who was a strong influence in his life. Paciano believed that studying abroad would provide Rizal with greater opportunities for learning and personal growth, as well as the chance to bring knowledge and enlightenment back to the Philippines to help liberate their country from Spanish colonial rule.
Jose Rizal studied abroad because the educational system abroad was far more better than that of his own country, the Philippines. Abroad, he will have more chances of learning and adapting better education so that when he comes back in his own country, the knowledge he gained can be used to help his country men.
