Both Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela were human rights activists for their countries. Mahatma Gandhi protested for India's independence from Britain and Nelson Mandela fought against apartheid in South Africa.
they were both friends and both believed in the same thing, to fight the people who dicriminated black people. in'it
They both eschewed armed violence. They both spent time on the continent of Africa. They both had large followings. They both eschewed political power. They both lived modestly. They both were killed as a result of conspiracies. They both were killed through the efforts of religiously motivated nationalists. They both have bodies which are no where to be found, although portions of Gandhi's ashes may still remain in undisclosed locations.
Maharshi Dayanand Sarswati and Mahatama Gandhi were not connected or related by any family or blood relationship. However, both hailed from Kathiawar (present day Gujarat state) in Western India and are related in many ways. Rather Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati is known as ideological, political and social Guru or Father of Mahatma Gandhi. And as such the Maharishi is known or called as Rashtrapitamah. It was Maharishi's personality, writings, preachings and contributions in the Nineteenth Century what Mahatma Gandhi practised in the Twentieth Century to attain Freedom for India. The ideology for nation's freedom movement of India in terms of Social Injustice, War on Untouchability, National Language, Swadeshi, Education of Women, Universalism etc. etc. enunciated by the Maharishi were what Gandhi followed and worked upon to be called as Rashtrapita.
Mahatma Gandhi was a prominent leader in the Indian independence movement against British rule, known for his philosophy of nonviolent resistance and civil disobedience. Jawaharlal Nehru was a key political figure and the first Prime Minister of India, serving from 1947 until his death in 1964. Both leaders played crucial roles in shaping modern India, with Gandhi advocating for social reform and self-reliance, while Nehru focused on nation-building and establishing a secular, democratic state. Their legacies continue to influence India and the world today.
Both are the same person Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.

Corazon Aquino and Mahatma Gandhi were both influential leaders known for their roles in promoting democracy and civil rights. They both led peaceful movements against oppressive regimes, with Aquino leading the People Power Revolution in the Philippines and Gandhi leading the Indian independence movement through nonviolent resistance. Both figures inspired their respective nations and the world with their commitment to justice and freedom.
yes......they both were very good and intelligent leaders...
Mahatma Gandhi lived modestly in a self-sufficient residential community and wore the traditional Indian dhoti and shawl, woven with yarn he had hand spun on a charkha. He ate simple vegetarian food, and also undertook long fasts as means of both self-purification and social protest.
Mahatma Gandhi was strictly nonviolent, whereas Mandela headed the BT at one point (a terrorist organization). Mandela did move towards compromise at a later point with the South African Government, but he was not as absolute as Gandhi on the issue of nonviolence. The similarity in both cases was that they were key to changes in government.
Both Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. were advocates of non-violent protest as a means of achieving equal rights. While Gandhi mounted his fight for Indians under English colonial rule, Martin Luther King Jr. took Gandhiâ??s methods into the deep south during the American Civil Rights movement to bring equal citizen rights to African-Americans.
Ah, what a lovely question. Dr. King studied the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, a peaceful leader from India who believed in nonviolent resistance. Both of these remarkable individuals shared a deep commitment to justice and equality, inspiring positive change in the world. It's wonderful to see how their teachings continue to resonate and inspire others to this day.
Both men were Russian.
It is my view that Mahatma Gandhi is Hindu political and spritual leader in Indian movement of independence. The reasons are: 1. He wrote a lot many books on platform of Shrimad Bhagwad Gita and others. 2. He also conveyed message of "Vaishnava Jan to ene kahiye je, pir parai jaane re". This message is self explanatory of Hindu Culture. 3. Last and the formost thing is only a spritually high level man could have lead India to independence with great courage and leadership. And he was......MAHATMA.
