Unfortunately, this is a common story with killers, especially serial killers. Bad childhoods don't always make a serial killer or there would be far more killers than there are already. But abuse in a person's early life will always have some adverse effect on the individual.
Charles Manson is a perfect example. He had a horrendous childhood. Aileen Wuornos, Henry Lee Lucas, John Wayne Gacy, Keith Jesperson, Aldolf Hitler, Edmund Kemper, Jerry Brudos and Danny Rolling are just a few killers that had a bad start in life.
