∙ 10y agoVeteran's Day was originally known as "Armistice Day" . It is still known as "Remembrance Day" in Britain and the Commonwealth. This is the day when we remember those who gave their lives so that we may have freeedom. It was on the 11th day of November that an Armistice ended WWI.
