Many of the German people linked the Weimar with the treaty of Versailles as it was the Weimar who signed it. Also the German people didnt want a democracy as they were happy with the kaiser who was a dictator but the Weimar was forced upon them by the Allies at the end of WW1
it was successful for the weimar republic because the period was a happy time for Germany. The hyperinflation crisis had been solved by Gustav Stresemann(1924-1929)- the president, when he burnt the old worthless marks and introduced a new currency- the retenmark. He also started the Dawes Plan in which he borrowed money from the american banker Charles Dawes to get German buisnesses functioning properly again and create better standards for the citizens. He also did other things which showed his ability of dealing with difficult situations. This time was also good for the republic because many people began to live a good life- atleast one better than they had before. Jazz music came over from america, there was lots of night life and many new artists came about as well as dancers and film directors. This period was a time of fun for most German people and therefore people liked the government (weimar republic) for taking them out of bad times.
Germany allied with Japan, Japan attacked America Germany had no choice and Hitler was not happy as he wanted to keep America out of the war.
Presumably so, as North Korea is a Communist state and not a Republic ___________________________________________________________________ Republic of Korea is the official name of South Korea and North Korea is referred as Democratic People's Republic of Korea North Korea is still a republic because it is called the Democratic (yeah right) REPUBLIC of Korea
The Republic of Peru was founded on July 28, 1821. The capital of Peru is Lima, and the motto of the country is 'Firm and Happy for the Union.'
it was the weimar republic. it didn't last long though. people weren't very happy with it and Hitler soon took over. it was the weimar republic. it didn't last long though. people weren't very happy with it and Hitler soon took over. it was the weimar republic. it didn't last long though. people weren't very happy with it and Hitler soon took over.
