Georgia had a diverse collection of European settlers in the original Georgia colony. Initially, people from the other American colonies were barred from living in Georgia. Settlers were either charity settlers, who had been financed by the colony's trustees or adventures who paid their own way and received the best land grants. Initially, the colony was to focus on the growth of silk fiber. Settlers were required to plant a set number of Mulberry trees. Slavery was also prohibited. But after the silk industry floundered and the slavery ban was found to be restrictive to development, those restrictions disappeared.
The headright system, established in the Virginia colony in the early 1600s, encouraged immigration by granting land to individuals who paid for their own or others' passage to America. Each person brought over granted the colonist a "headright," typically 50 acres, which incentivized wealthy landowners to sponsor settlers in exchange for land. This system facilitated labor-intensive plantation agriculture by attracting settlers, including indentured servants, thereby boosting population growth and economic development in the colony. Ultimately, it helped shape the social and economic landscape of early Virginia.
The Delaware settlers. I am positive this is right.
The settlers of Plymouth signed the Mayflower Compact in 1620. This document established a self-governing colony based on majority rule, outlining the settlers' commitment to create and abide by their own laws for the good of the community. It was a foundational step toward democratic governance in America. The Compact was signed by 41 male passengers aboard the Mayflower before they disembarked at Plymouth Rock.

The settlers whose way was paid by the trustees were often individuals who couldn't afford the cost of transportation and initial provisions needed to start a new life in the colony. By sponsoring their journey, the trustees sought to attract a more diverse and skilled population to establish and develop the colony. Those who were able to pay their own way were typically individuals with more financial resources or connections, who saw Georgia as an opportunity for land ownership and economic advancement.

It might Be Pennsylvania please don't be mad at me if i got it wrong :)
he was given a charter, so he could establish his own "colony." Which was Philidelphia in Pennsylvania.
Delaware started its own colony primarily due to its desire for self-governance and economic opportunities. Initially part of the Pennsylvania colony, Delaware's settlers sought greater autonomy and control over local affairs. The region's fertile land and access to waterways also attracted settlers looking for agricultural prospects. In 1704, Delaware established its own assembly, marking the beginning of its status as a separate entity.
The people who owned and controlled all the land of a colony were called proprietors or Lord Proprietors. Initially land was divided up by giving "headrights",which means, anyone who had paid his own passage was given 100 acres. Those given the land grants, had to pay a fee to the Lord Proprietors.
John Rolfe changed the Virginia colony, by developing a high-grade tobacco that the clonists learned to grow, it became very popular in England. The colonists which are The Virginia Company's employees wanted a share of the profits. So the company responded by letting settlers own land and the settlers worked harder when the land was their own.

not all, but part of the original settlers were Puritan. but in actuality, the Colony had its own Magna Charter, which was NOT about religion, but about the community as if it were the state already.
